my week in objects (mostly).

December 10, 2021

1. black tea.

{don’t know. just been on a kick this week.}

2. this idea for a little mouse.

{for being the best addition for a v. low-key advent calendar.}

3. these little pots of luminescence.

{because briar surprised me with it this week and it’s just perfect.}

4. this little basket.

{perfect for a bulb.}

5. this banana bread.

{this week has been bonkers but there were sweet spots.}

other things:

monstrous mommy.

fermentation revitalist.

christmas movies.

an entire spectrum of human experience that unfurls between “crushing it” and utter abjection.

still thinking about this from last year.

need immediately.

    I love the addition of the little mouse! Are the kids loving it? Are you including non-mouse activities like previous years or just having him move from spot to spot?

    <3 ! Here's hoping for a less bananas week. (and all bananas being for bread alone!)

    Would the jar of luminescence work as a concealer for the eyes at all?

    Hi Erin, I recently read about plastic in some tea bags and how micro and nano particles are released into the tea. I had no idea! I’m sure you knew about this and use plastic-free tea bags. Do you have a brand of tea bag that you recommend?

      yes! we very often use bulk loose tea for this purpose, but we were given a box of classic PG tips, which is what’s here. their bags are plastic-free and biodegradable. we put them right in with our compost!
