my week in objects (mostly).

September 4, 2015

five little things that made my week.

1. this confetti salad.
salad {otherwise known as, it’s too hot to cook, part 35.}

2. this cookbook.
book {because sometimes you just need a nudge in the right direction.}

3. this garment bag.
bag {for holding our duds for a farm wedding this weekend.}

4. this tiny tower.
blocks {built and unbuilt, all by herself. over and over again.}

5. this bucket.
bucket {for helping out with a forgetful cloth diapering moment.}

other things:
regretting not flouncing around in this little number all summer long.

sum of the arts.
bump ambivalence via the storq newsletter.
a pitcherful sounds good.
speaking of tequila.
this weekend’s wedding attire for me.
the power of play.
soundscape ecologist.
compliment yourself.

    Pray, what cookbook did you crack open? Always looking for new titles (even if they're old standbys).

    I am starting a new job in pediatric occupational therapy and have a background in Montessori–children learn and grow through play. It is entirely developmentally appropriate and, in my opinion, crucial to emotional and physical wellbeing.
